The name Schmettgala originates from my time on the trading floor as a Global Markets Analyst. Amidst the height of the pandemic, when my firm halted all firm-wide events, I took on the responsibility of being the social coordinator for my analyst class. The day before the Met Gala, a colleague yelled out across the trading floor, eager to know when the next Schmettgala would take place. From that moment on, the name became synonymous with an extraordinary tale. The rest, as they say, is history.
